ah the gentle

pitter patter of rain drops ....

it's been 28 days since our last rain .... and then we had to build the ark.

so, the potato's will dig much easier tomorrow.....

if we aren't in the ark

I've always preferred it dry to lift potatoes, they come clean and the skin matures so much easier

yep, but with no rain the ground is so hard it's hard to get the fork in to lift 'em ....

I woke up to rain this morning too, ddearly needed, but it developed into into a downpour! Fortunately, it only poured for a short time and it's been cloudy, warm and humid the rest of the day.

yep, during the overnight it was rumbling, lots of thunder and lightening ... but it all soaked away -- just a glooming October Sunday --- great time for productive sewing.

had a cold dry night, coldest so far and a clear moon.

Picking the seed beans today before the rain comes over here from your direction!
