 .. I was going to rant and rant about how awful life has been lately -- it's been extremely chaotic on 3rd street - just weird stuff -- really weird stuff ...

.. it's pretty bizarre when I put in 14 hours on a non tax season saturday -- but I did -- with no TV -- my directv box is on the fritz and calling directv has been an exercise in patience -- a lot of patience and I have none.  so I loaded the directv app on my iPad and streamed it --

.. the party happened and I was surrounded by family and friends - it was fun. 

.. the chaos continues -- my cell phone is ringing at 9:00 pm ...

.. counting my blessings -- knocked out a couple of big projects in the last couple of days, a lot of payroll, finished all the quarterly payroll reports, had a road trip to downtown Gaylord -- hung out with some cool people ...

.. ordered a new toy (s) -- the toy needs accessories ..

.. Ruby is going to prom again .. the kids dress her up quite nicely -- fun to see

progress, projects and paradise

  yep, another Saturday at the office.  my home office space has been re-purposed so -- I came to work quite early and have been at it all day ... and still at it ....

  projects -- on the project list -- all of my quarterly payroll reports have been completed.  thankfully.  crossed them off the list - got a head start on payroll taxes for 5/15/19 deposit .

  it snowed elsewhere -- giving thanks for that !   10 miles away. 

  my office (the real office) TV has been on the fritz --or the dishbox isn't working or the dish itself but I learned how to stream direct TV on my iPad -- better than 15 hours of radio.

 so the party prep will commence this evening -- setting up tables, chairs, etc ... so it rolls.

and the road construction supervisor will be moving dirt and rebuilding part of the driveway

ahhhhh

It took a bit but I made it out to the Happy Place -- it was a weekend of firsts -- first Friday night I didn't work at the office (I had a spot of homework) .. I did work Saturday morning -- Quarterly Payroll Reports wait for no one ! 

 I headed home to change clothes and had to help elder #1 -- his mini dump truck was stuck (fixed a field washout) ... finally headed to the cabin and ...... I hit Cleveland and the warning bells were dinging -- "low tire" "low tire" ... so I came home ..... argh.  Hopped on the ATV and took a cruise instead -- it was a good change of pace -- and then at supper -- back to the office for a couple more hours ...

Finally after the Easter guests left -- Mom and I headed back to the Cabin -- it seems to have survived the winter -- needs a good airing out -- I didn't see any mouse "tracks" .. we dug out a couple of lawn chairs and enjoyed the sunshine on the deck!!!  it was wonderful .....

sounds like the first 105 days of the year eh!

the DAY !!!

ah, the big day has arrived in my cranky world.  all i can say is things need to change, I'm not sure I can keep up this pace - and there is a whole lot of work yet to be done.  a freaking lot of work.  my extension list is up to 100 -- yes, 100.  

I woke up in the middle of the night with issues, intestinal issues .. not the best day to not be fully functional -- I'm on 2 hours of sleep -- a nap may be needed.  soon.

change, I'm not sure how to change -- but I know I need to change.

in the chaos of the day I am losing perspective but dang it's been a really tough 105 days and it's not over yet ...

my life would be a bit less stressful .. if the freaking VPN was actually up and running .. we log into a server in lovely Eagan Minnesota ... where evidently they are having issues ...

it started Friday when the "multi-factor authencator" wasn't pinging my cell phone and at noon ... it was slower than the slowest turtle ...

brought home a heap of work and did a bunch of prep work -- logged in and the freaking thing is less than speedy .. (faster than Friday - but not good)

I'm going to bed -- it seems like the thing to do.
