I have been challenged.
I have grieved.
I have learned
I have grown.
I have been blessed
I have worked (a lot)
I have laughed
I have cried
I am tired --
I will stop fretting the small stuff
just a crazy quilter, retired gardener, cpa, county commissioner .. life is busy and complicated
year end reflections -- I'm not going sugarcoat it .. it's been a tough year -- but the life lessons have paid dividends .. I think .. or some of them have -- I tried to find a couple pix that summed up life
In my daily blog reading -- I ran across this blub from Yvonne
In general, I am noticing that some people are struggling with healthy, professional, timely interpersonal communication. It adds an additional overhead burden on my workflow. It seems like a bit of a trend that I don’t know how to work with.
pfft -- absolute truth --
I'm trying to set boundaries at the office -- and keep them -- the rest of the crew is much better at that than I am ... I think it is my nature to over - accommodate clients -- problem solving is a big part of the occupation -- and it has taken me decades to realize I cannot solve every problem immediately.
So the adventures of the week -- lots of doctor appointments for Mom -- yesterday was a "sympathic lumbar nerve block" (or something to that affect) .. another shot in the spine -- she mentioned last night she had taken less tylenol and thought it was perhaps working -- ..today's appointment is neurology for testing -- and one more on Friday with the NP to review test results and progress ..
Otherwise, it doesn't feel like anything is getting done around here ... packet pickup is going well -- phones are always busy .. and I'm struggling with "healthy, professional and timely interpersonal communication" .. it is a world of "hurry up I'm late and I don't care" ...
toodles

I googled "cranky diva" for an appropriate image .. most of them were not appropriate ..
yes, I'm cranky -- that damn cat got me up at 4:30 .. ate 2 cans of food and was still howling 4 hours later -- and then he snuggled in with mom and had a nap. he's irking me
