good morning

I started early again this morning 

me, laundry and a tote bag of work

Mom and I had a mini road trip to the cabin ( it's only 10 miles not sure if that's a "road trip" ) ate the McD's in the truck -- went out and reset the modem/router ... and snapped this from the cameras -- and the modem / router isn't working again this morning either .. 

this my peeps is a tired CPA .. got home from the cabin road trip, changed clothes, took work tote bag to the cave ... came up for a bit and crashed in the chair ... at 11:00 pm -- someone woke me and encouraged me to move to a bed .. 

the chaos of life continues -- today is a new day and it promises to be good, shining sun, chirping birds and the clanging of the always ringing telephone .. just another day in paradise ...

winter storm warning day

 

these didn't upload in order and I'm too tired to switch them around

the big storm has arrived - i think, not sure

hopefully we dodged the bullet and it'll be less than predicted 

so I boxed up a crapload of work (2 boxes) took it home with me late yesterday -- worked in the cave until 9:30 - got a lot done --- 

overslept this morning -- if 4:55 am is oversleeping

no snow -- loaded up done and undone and went to the office 

got more stuff done

snow re-appeared -- and loaded up homework and came home to work

Regis is still at the office -- he has a box of work and he lives 5 blocks away ... 

I'm surfing the www and headed to the  cave ..

work, laundry and vac'ing are the goals of the afternoon

Happy St Patrick's Day

I'm so tired I'm messing things up .. hopefully this posts properly .. timely, whatever ..

This is my new hat.  I like it.

I watched the parade from the front room -- it was a cold windy afternoon and staying healthy is important .. the boys hauled in a couple bags of candy .. they enjoyed it ..

client Ann sent me this note -- she's a quilter too .. 98 -- moved to an assisted living near her children last year -- so I don't get to see her or her works of art ... I am grateful to be blessed with nice clients .. 

last week I told one to leave -- I couldn't handle the ever changing numbers -- missed appointments and well, I think things are being fabricated ... when in doubt -- just don't do it ...

now it's time for bed ..

tomorrow will be another day

03/11 check in (out)

I had a meltdown Sunday afternoon ... another meltdown --- at least it didn't turn into the full blown tummy bug ...  I came home with homework at 1:30? 2:30? damn time change ..

nothing like Gone With the Wind to remind me that my shit show is nothing compared to the real world 

"as God is my witness" .... it was a moment

kept me working - and feeling better

I'm just exhausted last week was a corker

things at home are a lot like the office .. messy rolling carts of shit and space heaters -- I just couldn't get warm yesterday  ... overflowing trash cans and floors that haven't seen a vac in eons

the boys went out yesterday and put two new sections of decking on the dock .. 

the dock is going out the week of the March 27th .. PTL ... and while they were there -- reset the modem/router -- the cameras came alive .. need my lake time even if its via the cameras

this was a couple of days after the ice went out ... 

back to the grind.
