yeppers, it is now snowing fairly heavy -- forecasted to turn to rain, then sleet then back to snow....translation -- the weather dudes have no clue.

sunday night musings

 So I've got big news and little news. 

1.  I ordered all the seed for the Patch!  Yes, retirement lasted all of 4 months.  I enjoy my time in the patch and at the Market.  It gets me outdoors and gets me good eats!  Last year would have been pretty darn calm if it hadn't been for them damn deer.  So I'm moving up the hill and across the prairie to an old location.  And I'm fencing, spraying and shooting earlier.

2. Evidently the weather gods truly think it is going to be nasty this week.  The channel 5 dude said "10 inches is possible"  he must be nuts. 

   I worked like a madwoman all weekend long.  Lots got done -- busy, busy, busy week ahead.  No time for "10 inches" of snow.  Thursday night the scraping diva's and I are headed to "RiverDance" ... a night on the town might just be a good thing.  Elton John just might need to be next.  Not sure if I'm willing to spend the $$$ but it is 12 miles from home! 

  Next up is camera shopping.  Dang I miss that thing!

so it goes

    well the hoop-a-la surrounding the impending "winter storm warning" has moved south -- literally.  I was hoping for some quality work time. 

     if every winter was like this winter we'd be blessed.  although I think it's probably going to rain for 40 days and 40 nights -- my ark needs to be constructed.  we'll need that much moisture to make up for the lack of white shit snow.  so it goes, it is out of our control (well, except for the ark).

    I am surprised by the amount of vehicle traffic on the road at 5:33am.  good grief it is good to know I'm not the only idiot going to work .....

            car wash (less mud)
            softner salt for the upcoming weather events
            coffee/cookie (for the wait in the wash)
6:40 office
6:45 back up tape running

I did take a 4 minute attitude adjustment break -- I dashed home and Lori cut my hair!!!!!!  Best thing I did all day long.

So, I've been here since

5:45 am ... you would think I have accomplished many tasks. Wrong.  The biggest finish so far is emptying the trash/recycling/shredding bins.  I have also sorted the various piles on my desk/floor/shelves.

I'm suffering from the "busier I am the behinder I become" syndrome.  So to cure the syndrome I have a large (super large) iced coffee. 

The end is a mere 61 days away ... 8 weeks .. 2 months and 1 day .... not so bad eh!

my other desk -- when I get tired of my normal four green walls I head out to this nook and have attitude adjustment and still manage to accomplishi a few things

I could yous a little green  -- the pix I submitted to the Home / Garden section of the Mpls paper that led to an interveiw ( a really really really brief interview that no one read!) ... I was not so famous for a day.

  is dead.  So evidently it's a slow news month and the national news peeps have nothing better to chat about.  yep, she was a very talented woman with a lot of demons.  end of story.  

  I came home before sunset.  odd feeling to be home in the daylight.  it didn't last long enough.  but the days are getting long.  I overslept (not a national news event) and didn't leave home until 7:00 ish ...

  off for some retail therapy .. i think i need an Adele cd ... i did roll up WH on my ipod this afternoon -- and belted along with WH .... I did this after Mrs. H left .... didn't think she needed to witness the insanity. 

  the madness continues....

Mrs. H reminded me I hadn't been very diligent about blogging lately.

I'm pooped.  I took a bunch of pictures on the spiffy new phone of my trashy, messy, stacked full of files office ... and tried to download them to my desktop.  Didn't work.

Still pooped.  Mrs. H finally got to go home, much later than normal -- the peeps kept walking in and out -- calling, whining .... sometimes smiling.

Really pooped.  I never did get my Taco Johns supper I left the office after 8:00 ... I had frozen cheep pizza ... and a load of laundry....naked accountant would not be a good thing.  

So off to bed .... hello sheets good bye blog.

   holy holy it's Tuesday .... time flies.

   Scrapping Diva's  had a day of fun on SuperBowl Sunday ... I arrived in time to get sick.  Must have been the soup.  (he he he)  Anyway home I went -- and off to bed.  It was to be.

  Okay I've been writing this for 2 hours ... time to post....
