Monday, monday, MONDAY

  how's that for embracing Monday morning.   I was here until 7:00 last night, I didn't get my usual Sunday night off ... I left the office when the rest of the crew returned from Mankato -- yesterday was the last day of the boat show and by the time they were allowed out of the mall and loaded up for home it was 7:00.  and snowing, made for an interesting drive -- towing a boat.  I missed all the excitement but arrived in time for the food.

 i did however manage to accomplish most of the projects that had been on the "list" for the day.  41 days and counting.  do you think we'll still have snow ... (don't even go there).

today's wisdom

   Gotcha ... none to be had from this Diva.

   Took an attitude adjustment break this afternoon ... the little gift shop in the Nicollet Hotel sells tiara's .... beautiful tiara's ... not exactly sure where I'd wear one ... kinda spendy, pretty but spendy ... and then I remember that ugly TV Show "Toddlers and tiara's"  so I won't be getting one any time soon.

  However, I think I need a magic wand.....

a day at the Capital

so I did something today I haven't done since 4th grade --- eons ago.  I went to the State Capital.  County Business ... meetings at AMC -- then off to meet with our elected state officials, Senator Sheran and Representative Morrow.  We then sat in on a Senate Tax Committee Hearing, it got better -- on to the full Senate which was in session.  kinda cool.



   i scammed this pix off of some website (sorry can't remember which one) ... the rotunda and dome are currently surrounded by scaffolding.  So ...

  It was fun.

yes, it feels like this around here too .. 78" so far ... aren't we blessed....more on the way for the weekend.  gotta love life's little snowy moments.
