and down the backstretch goes

  marie, the tired Diva.

I'm not thinking clearly so I took some moments to clean.  Yep, clean.  Always a fabulous stress reliever.

And what's up with the flipping weather.  Sleet, snow, rain ... perhaps Mother Nature forgot it was April.

it's mere hours peeps and freedom will quietly ring.

wonder woman

i'm done. i quit. it ain't gonna happen no more, no how, no way. end of conversation.

whew -- i feel better already!

above is my morning facebook blurb.  I should have added --   i'm tired, i'm crabby and my wonder woman bra has deflated and nothing is holding me up anymore.

i'm rude, i'm obnoxious and i'm driving the helpers nuts.  the fricking snow has not helped the problem either.

I think there was a new years resolution about no whining -- blew that one out of the sky with this post.

"difficult driving conditions"

per MnDOT ...

hum -- should have just asked me, the morning commute was f...... ugly.

the only positive side of the drive.  I was the only idiot on the road.  poor visibility, slippery, slippery, slippery.  no plows.

and the white shit is still falling.  and to think I whined about the "hail balls" that were falling Tuesday night.

arrrghhhhhhh.

snow !!!

wtf !!  snow.  raining gumballs of hail on the home bound commute last night.  driving on marbles was not fun.

thunder and lightening preceded the "gumballs" -- so per my grandpa -- the first frost is always 6 months from the first thunderstorm.  October 9, 2013 will be the day ... and it'll be my 53rd birthday too!

main roads are plowed -- side streets and rural roads - nope -- sucks to be us.

honor ....

so yesterday, client comes into pick up his tax return.  his wife died in February and she was a quilter too.

he asked me if I'd finish her last quilt.  I smiled and said yes.  I was almost speechless.  he then went on to tell me how much B enjoyed visiting my office and seeing the projects hanging on my walls.

oh my -- more tears.  So my peeps, I've had more tears (sad and happy) in the last couple of months than normal.
