Noisy night on the prairie ....

headlands are done -- starting to cut into the center of the field

picking into the truck ... side by side across the field they go (teamwork)

hurry up and wait

gonna be a long night ... 2 pickers 4 trucks and they're hauling it 50 miles away to be processed --- noisy, dirty and the cut corn has an odor to it ...... in 2009 the patch was located along the same headlands....
