Yes, it's really early

  ... and I've been up for an hour already.  I assisted with getting the bird into the oven.  Need to get 'em done so the oven opens up.

  and here in old Traverse des Sioux -- it appears to have rained --- the snow totals seem to be a couple of inches -- not the 8 of yesterday.
