These are pieces that Paul chipped off the Berlin Wall shortly after it came down 30 years ago today. We keep them as a reminder of how cruel people and groups have been and continue to be, but that love, goodness and honesty eventually break down those walls.
the polarization, the bitterness, the unkind acts that are suddenly seem to be the norm are getting to me .... we've lost our ability to have civil conversations -- to have differing opinions ...
